Christmas #2

This year we had our family Christmas on Christmas day.

Here in our home for the very first year, we had a wonderful Christmas.  The girls said it was the best Christmas ever!  We had new stockings to enjoy this year with a few treats in them – glitter glue, candy, dry erase markers, bubble tape, and Star Wars stuff.

Each girl had four small gifts to open.  Here are some pictures…..

Then, we told them Santa must have forgotten a present.  (They were all about Santa this year for some reason…)  We found it in the attic, which was pretty exciting in itself.  They tore into this gift with enthusiasm!

Inside they discovered clues: an airplane, the state of Florida, a hotel, and the Disney castle.  Can you figure it out?

That’s right.  We are taking them to Florida to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Yoh at a hotel for five days, one of which will be at Disney.  I think it will be fun.  We have a lot of planning to do before then; hopefully it will come together for a good time.

We enjoyed the leisurely morning together complete with a walk and the installation of a new porch light.

By afternoon, we were ready to head over to Luke and Steph’s house to hang out for awhile.  They are always the hosts with the mosts.
