Zoo with Grace

Madison and I met Tara and Grace at the zoo this week.  I was able to leave Ellie with the sitter, so we could have a little more free time (not so much stopping and bottle feeding).  The day was perfect – not too hot, not too cold, not too windy, and not rainy.  It was a lot of fun.  Madison was braver with the goats this time.  I almost had to beg her to leave when Grace was tired of it.

               

The polar bears weren’t doing a whole lot, he grizzly bears were sleeping in their cave, and the polar bear playground was closed for construction.  The girls still found something fun to do in this area.

                   

Madison got to ride on the train for the first time.  We have been to the zoo so many times, and almost every time she rides on the carousel.  This time, she rode on the train.  She loved it.  Next time, maybe we will try the boat ride, or the pony ride. 

          

We had a picnic lunch before heading home.  Thank you, Tara and Grace, for your friendship.
