Madison is involved with the high school choir. This year, they competed at OMEA at the state level and received all 1s (highest rating). Pretty cool. Mrs. Carr, their music director, does a fabulous job with the students. My favorite song that either gave me chills or brough me to tears each time I heard it was “Troubles of the World.” It was fitting for the time we are in and also just so well done. Ellie is in the middle school band as one of two clarinets. She has enjoyed bits and pieces of it, but she said she is not continuing in high school. This was her last concert night with her friends, Mary Grace Nussbaum, Bailey Pauli, and Maylynn Lecon.
Ellie is also in the middle school choir. This year, she participated in the Solo and Ensemble contest with an ensemble. They did a great job, earning a superior rating. Her spring concert was the 8th grade musical which I will post about later.
