This spring we went to put together MCC Relief Buckets. The girls loved it. It is just an assembly line that they walk through and place items in a 5 gallon bucket. It is a good chance to talk about how we help people around the world by doing something that seems so easy.
We also did one of their favorite projects from last year, Manna for Many. Again, this was an assembly line where we made bags of soup that would make a large pot of soup for those that had little to eat. This is fun for all ages. It is repetitive and allows you to talk with people as you walk through the line filling up your bag. I don’t have pictures from this year, but you can see it from last year.
